ELECTRONICS SERVICE WARRANTY POLICY

Effective Date: 10 July 2026

This Electronics Service Warranty Policy (“Policy”) governs the optional, value-added service provided by NewSa (operated by Circec Solutions Private Limited) for the provision of a structural service warranty on select electronics and appliances purchased on the Platform. By opting into this service, Users agree to the following terms, which supplement our general Terms of Service, Payment & Shipping Policy, and Electronics Verification Service Policy.

1. Service Scope and Eligibility

  • Optional Enrollment:This is a pre-paid, optional value-added service available only for specific items as designated by NewSa. The service must be explicitly selected by the Buyer at the time of checkout, where the applicable service charges—which may vary on a case-by-case basis—will be clearly displayed prior to payment completion.
  • Platform Discretion:NewSa reserves the absolute right to determine which items or product categories are eligible for this service warranty. We further reserve the right to decline or unilaterally cancel this service at any time, including after an order has been placed, if we determine that the item cannot be verified or covered to our satisfaction.
  • Liability Limitation:NewSa is not liable for the provision of this service if external circumstances (e.g., lack of accessible configuration data, hardware diagnostic constraints, or inability to secure third-party database validation) prevent its baseline verification or protection activation. In the event of such cancellation prior to order completion, NewSa will issue a 100% refund of the service warranty fee to the Buyer.
  • "As-Is" Baseline State Assessment:
    • Pre-Reported Damage Exceptions:If a device possesses physical blemishes, cosmetic defects, or minor functional degradation at the time of listing, it remains eligible for the service warranty provided that the Seller explicitly documented and disclosed these exact discrepancies in the original marketplace listing description and photos.
    • Objective Discrepancy Standard:The baseline parameters of the warranty coverage are bounded by the verified condition of the item received at NewSa HQ matching the Seller’s explicit description.
  • Mandatory Verification Linkage:
  • To ensure structural integrity and record accurate baseline performance diagnostics, the Electronics Service Warranty always includes and requires the Electronics Verification Service.
  • Consequently, opting for the service warranty will inherently incur the dual logistics routing process, resulting in an additional delivery delay of two (2) to seven (7) business days, which is communicated to the Buyer at checkout.

2. Logistics and Claim Verification Process

  • Initial Order Modified Shipping Flow:Upon selection of this service at checkout, the product undergoes the primary verification shipping flow:
    • Seller to NewSa HQ:The Seller is provided with a pre-paid shipping label to NewSa HQ or any other authorized verification center. The Seller remains fully responsible for meeting packaging requirements and ensuring the item is ready for pickup within one (1) to three (3) days.
    • NewSa to Buyer:Once verified, NewSa assumes full responsibility for the safe, professional re-packaging and final transit of the protected product to the Buyer.
  • In-Warranty Claim Logistics:
  • In the event of a covered functional failure within the warranty period, the Buyer must initiate a warranty claim and courier the package physically to NewSa HQ for verification and assessment.
  • Buyer Packaging & Cost Liability:The Buyer is solely responsible for safe shipping, secure transit packaging, and paying all upfront courier costs to NewSa HQ.
  • Shipping Fee Reimbursement:If, upon physical and diagnostic assessment at NewSa HQ under high-definition camera surveillance, the claim is found to be genuine and covered under this Policy, NewSa will fully reimburse the Buyer for their direct shipping costs.

3. Warranty Duration and Coverage Matrix

  • Warranty Period:The standard duration of the Electronics Service Warranty is a fixed period of three (3) months, commencing immediately upon the date of delivery to the Buyer.
  • What We Cover:Everything that a standard manufacturer warranty covers, so you can shop without worries. Coverage is strictly limited to the following internal hardware components:
    • Internal hardware defects.
    • Display or touch failure.
    • Charging port malfunction.
    • Camera hardware issues.
    • Network or motherboard faults.
    • Battery defects (abnormal drain, sudden failure).
  • What We Do Not Cover:The following exclusions are explicitly blocked from coverage under this policy, and any claim arising from or related to them will be rejected immediately:
    • Physical damage (cracks, dents, bent frame).
    • Water or moisture exposure / damage.
    • Software issues / OS updates.
    • Rooted, flashed, or jailbroken devices.
    • Accessories (charger, cable, earphones).
    • Normal battery ageing.
    • Issues disclosed at sale.
    • Any new damage or progressive functional failure that occurs due to, or is accelerated by, a pre-disclosed defect or damage.
    • Third-party or unauthorized repairs.

4. Warranty Resolution and Fulfillment Modes

  • Platform Discretion on Resolution:Upon confirming that a warranty claim is genuine and valid under the terms of this Policy, NewSa reserves the absolute right to choose the most appropriate method of fulfillment.
  • Remedies and Options:Claims will be resolved through one of the following methods:
    • Free Repair:NewSa may arrange for a comprehensive, parts-and-labor-covered hardware repair of the specific defective component to restore the item to its baseline functionality, performed entirely at no cost to the Buyer.
    • Replacement Device:NewSa may provide the Buyer with an alternative replacement device of equal value, operational quality, and specifications, subject to available platform inventory.
    • Monetary Refund:NewSa may issue a complete monetary refund to the Buyer.
  • Resolution Threshold:In the event that a monetary refund or platform credit is selected as the fulfillment method, the financial resolution is subject to a strict upper boundary. The maximum payout or credit threshold shall never exceed the total amount paid by the buyer for that specific product transaction on the Platform.

5. Automatic Failure, Modifications, and Security Locks

  • Verification Failures during Initial Processing:Any device arriving at NewSa HQ from the Seller locked, linked to an enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) profile, or locked behind a password/PIN will result in an immediate, automatic verification failure, terminating the warranty issuance and triggering standard platform seller penalties.
  • Automatic Voiding Conditions:The three (3) month service warranty shall become immediately and permanently null and void without liability to NewSa if the Buyer performs any of the following unauthorized actions:
    • Jailbreaking or Rooting:Any modification, flashing, jailbreaking, or bypass of the factory operating system permissions or security profiles.
    • Physical Alteration:Opening, unscrewing, disassembling, or altering the internal physical casing or structural components of the device.
    • Third-Party Intervention:Attempting any unauthorized third-party repairs, diagnostic dismantling, or component replacements.
  • Final Decision Maker:NewSa remains the sole, final, and absolute decision-maker regarding the operational quality, structural verification, defect origin, and claim validity of any item processed through this service warranty.

6. Contestation and Appeals

  • Contestation Process:In the event that a User wishes to contest a warranty claim decision made by NewSa, they must formally contact the Grievance Officer at support@newsa.in with their contestation claim. The User may submit additional proof or chronological documentation supporting the original operational state of the device.
  • Right of Rejection:NewSa reserves the right to review, evaluate, and reject any such claims at our sole discretion, particularly if our internal diagnostic findings and camera surveillance records remain completely consistent with our initial assessment. Our decision post-review remains final and unappealable.

7. Grievance Redressal

  • Contacting the Grievance Officer:For any issues related to this Electronics Service Warranty Policy, including active claims, grievances, or structural disputes, Users may reach out to our appointed Grievance Officer, Harsh Ranjan, via email at support@newsa.in.
